I found a 25 second voice note on my computer from 2019 of me noodling around on my acoustic guitar. I couldn't believe I never did anything with it. So I fleshed it out into this song. Lyrically the song is about trying to separate myself from this idea that as a "musician" I have to aspire to join the larger music industry. I kinda just like making stuff, but have been indoctrinated into this idea that I have to promote, and that I need to be consumed as a product. Is it not enough to make it for me?
